**Each student has made a Christmas ornament in art class.  Please send $10 ASAP to purchase your child's ornament.  Thet are too cute!!!  December 5th is the last day to send your money.  This money goes to purchase much needed supplies for the art classes

Our items for the basket are due this Friday. Please send your items by then. I only have a few items, please bring something by Friday!!!

 Veggie orders are due this Friday.

“Donuts with Dad” is this Friday morning in the cafeteria! It will start at 7 and last until 8! You can come anytime between 7 and 8! It costs $5 per family. Thanks, PTO, for sponsoring this event!!

WE WILL BE DRESSING UP TO CELEBRATE THE IRON BOWL. IF YOU CHILD WOULD LIKE TO DRESS IN THEIR FAVORITE SCHOOL COLORS (AUBURN OR ALABAMA OR ANY OTHER FAVORITE TEAM) THEN FRIDAY, NOVEMBER 16 WILL BE THE DAY.

On 11-16-12, we will have after-school from noon until 5:30.

Due to PLA hosting the AISA Tripleheader at Troy University,  we will dismiss at 11:45 on Friday, November 16^th. We will only have a snack that day and there will be no after-school.

To honor all of our Veterans for Veterans' Day please bring a small flag with a Veteran's name on it and we will line the road to show we are proud to be an AMERICAN!!! Please find someone that has been in the military and tell them THANKS!!!

The 2012 Patriot Marketplace will be held on December 7, from 9:00 am until 7:30 pm.

The PTO is sponsoring themed gift baskets to be part of the silent auction. By November 30th, we are asking each of the students to bring an item no matter how large or small to add to the grade level basket. Our theme this year is PAMPER YOURSELF. You may begin bringing items at any time.

There has been a slight misunderstanding about AR and the checking system. If you have read to them, please place a check mark on the date that you read to them. If you have asked questions and you feel they are ready to test, check and circle the check for the actual day theywill test. For ex., Today is the 6th, if you let them read to you tonight and you ask them questions, place the circled check mark on the 7th.

Don't forget that we will miss a whole week because of Thanksgiving!! ALL STUDENTS need to take at least 3 tests per week to be able to reach their goals. Plus some of the students do not have an average of 85% so they will need to take extra tests to bring up their average.

On Friday, we will have a birthday lunch celebrating Jackson, Houston, Kate , and Carter. HAPPY BIRTHDAY!!!

School pictures are due Monday, 11-5-12.

Family Ties Turkey
I will send home a "tie" in folders tomorrow. Please decorate it with family pictures. Yoy may decorate it anyway, glitter paint, stickers..... The only rule is to make sure it is not to heavy because I am only using tape to hang the ties on the wall outisde of the classroom. This is a great family project that you can recall memories from the photos you use. Please have this turned in by Monday.
