We will leave the school around 8:15 and we will return to Troy around 12:00-12:30. We will meet at the Party Pad for lunch/play and return to school around 2:00.

SUPER SCIENTIFIC CIRCUS
Our first field trip will be on March 12, 2013.
This will take place at the Montgomery Performing Arts Center at 11:45. We will eat lunch before the show. We are hoping to picnic somewhere in Montgomery before the show. I will let you know closer to time. The cost is $6 per student and chaperone.

This will take place at the Dothan Civic Center at 10:00. Details about lunch will follow.
The cost is $7 per student and $22 per chaperone.

1) Polar Exress Movie
We will be going to see the Polar Express Movie at the movie theatre on December 20 along with the Kindergarten classes and the other 1st grade class. It will not cost us anything to go because it is a gift from Abigail and Sarah Taylor. All parents are welcome to attend. If you plan on taking your child, please let me know ASAP. You will need to be here at 8:40, the movie begins at 9:00. Again, this will be a great opportunity for ALL parents to attend because other trips we will limit the amount of parents. Again, I need to know if you plan on taking your child because I will need to see if anyone will need a ride.
2) Stephen Fite ( February 6th)
We will be going to see Stephen Fite in February. He is a singer who travels around singing educational songs. We have been in the past and we always have a blast! We had to reserve seats because they sell out very quickly. We reserved enough seats for 4 parents per 1st grade. We cannot have any more than 4 parents attend. If you would like to come to the Stephen Fite concert and be a driver, please make sure you have a vehicle with a 3rd row so we can make sure that every child has a seat. We can't allow children to ride in the front seat. Send me an email if you would like to be a driver. If you have driven already, please allow others the opportunity to drive.The cost for children and parents is $5. Please send this money by December 14 because we have to mail in the money in order to maintain our reserved seats.
Lunch on Field Trip
Lunch: Everyone will need to bring a lunch that does not need to be heated and a couple drinks (no cokes) in a throw away lunch bag – I will send a brown paper bag with their names on it the day before. Also bring a snack in their regular lunchboxes, to keep at the school in case we arrive back in time for snack.
• Coolers: Parent drivers please put a cooler in your car to keep lunches and drinks cold.
Students should wear their field trip tshirts and shorts or jeans and TENNIS SHOES.
WHERE: Dream Field Farms Pumpkin Patch
WHEN: Thursday, Oct 18th
WHO: 1st Grade Classes
We will visit Dream Field Farms Pumpkin Patch near Union Springs on Thursday, October 18th. We will leave school at 8:00 sharp to arrive and begin our tour at 9:00. The farm includes: pig races, hay ride, pumpkin pickin', and much more! We are limited to 4 chaperons/drivers that can transport at least 4 or 5 children for this trip(this does not include the front seat). This will be first come first serve. Please email me or send a note in your child's folder if you are interested in helping with this trip. Cost for children is $10.00 each. This includes admission and a pumpkin. Cost for adults is $5.00 (no pumpkin, sorry just for kids). ALL MONEY IS DUE OCT 5TH. We will carry a sack lunch and picnic on the grounds. No siblings are allowed on PLAS field trips.
