Please remember to study your play parts, we will start when we return from spring break.

If you did not bring your Easter Eggs, please bring them when you return.

Our Easter Egg Hunt will begin at 10:30. We will have school in the morining. EVERYONE needs to come to school that morning because we will have reading.
If you would like to drive your child to the party, please email me and let me know. I may need some of you to carry and return other students to the party and school.
PLEASE LET ME KNOW ASAP, IF YOU ARE PLANNING ON TAKING YOUR CHILD AND IF YOU CAN TAKE OTHER STUDENTS.

I still need one more egg hider for our Easter Egg Hunt. If you are bringing food items make enough for just our class. Mrs. Blackwell's class will bring their own food and drinks.

Also please bring a dozen plastic Easter eggs by Friday, 3/22/13. Please DO NOT BRING EGGS WITH CHOCOLATE!!! Any other candy will be fine.

Easter Egg Hunt PartyWe will be having our Easter Party on Thursday, April 4th at Campbell Baker's house. I will need 4 drivers to volunteer to drive us to the house. The Play will be on May 9th @ 10:00.

Also Elementary Honor's Day will be held on  May 10th @ 1:00.

We will have our Unit 8 test on Monday. Please study over the weekend.

**School will dismiss at 12:00 next Friday, March 15th due to the Jonah McWaters Tournament hosted here that afternoon. We will start early pick-up at 11:45. Please have your child picked up no later than 12:00. We will not have lunch at school. There will be after-school care that afternoon. If your child stays in after-school care, you will need to send them a lunch for the day.



FIELD TRIP INFO
Our field trip to the Super Scientific Circus is Tuesday, 3/12/13 in Montgomery at The Montgomery Performing Arts Center.
The show begins at 11:45 so we will leave at 10:00. Please bring a snack for them to eat before we leave because we will not eat lunch until after the show.
Pack a sack lunch in a throw away bag. If it is not raining, we will picnic at The Shakespeare Festival after the show. If it is raining, we will return to school and have lunch.
IF YOU ARE A DRIVER, PLEASE BRING AN ICE-CHEST AND A BLANKET. Please email me if you have any questions. My drivers are: Penny, Kelli, Corrie, Amanda, and Gigi.

The 1st grade play is coming up in May, we do not have a date yet. I will begin sending everyone's part in the next couple of weeks. Please begin to practice at home with your child. We give this early so that the students have plenty of time to learn their lines.


Please practice sight words, contractions, and counting by 2's, 5's, and 10's from 100-200. In the next few weeks, I will be testing them on it. Also, I will give another measurement test as well.
